Two State Records Fall in Relay Events on Day 1 at Ocean Breeze!
Delaware Sprinters Shine in Staten Island!

The boys from Howard (Brandon Justin/50.4Ian Chege/49.5Zaire Hermon/50.8 and Eddie Rosembert/51.8), improved upon their state record set earlier in the season winning the 4 X 400m in a time of 3:22.51, also earning them #1 All Time!  

Salesianum boys (Sean Banko/2:02.4, Lucien Peach/2:02.6, Mike Keehan/2:01.3, George Steinhoff/1:57.3) set a new mark in the 4 X 800m - 8:03.65!

William Penn's Mike Mills and Howard's Edwin Rosembert post #4 and #5 All Time marks in the 200m - Mills/21.94; Rosembert/22.03. Mills placed 4th in the final of the event after qualifying with the #4 All Time mark.
Rosembert also moved up to #5 All Time in the 400m - running 49.67 for 6th place.

Howard's Ian Chege placed 10th in the 800m running 1:57.75, #6 All Time!

William Penn's Miles Duncan placed 2nd in the Long Jump/21' 11.75" and 4th in the Triple/43' 5.5".

Tatnall (Caroline Foley/3:45.7, Kayla Woods/58.3, Savannah Pankow/2:19.5, Keelin Hays/5:01.6), placed 2nd in the Championship Distance Medley Relay - 12:05.11 - #3 All Time!
Tatnall 4 x 200m (Lexxie Mathis, Kayla Woods, Ony Osuagwa, Ellen Zammarchi), placed 2nd in the <600 division - 1:46.21.
Tatnall's Keelin Hays placed 3rd in the 3000m, running 10:07.06 - #4 All Time!
Tatnall's Kayla Woods placed 3rd in the 400m - 58.68.
Tatnall's Caroline Foley was 5th in the Mile - 5:12.81.

Tatnall (Larry Mathis, Brad Keen, Brendan Balthis, Napolean Hernandez) placed 2nd in the <600 division of the 4 x 800m - 8:06.55 - #3 All Time!
Tatnall (Sully Saunders, Lorenzo Bochetti, Napolean Hernandez, Brad Keen), placed 2nd in the <600 division of the 4 x 200m - 1:35.72.
Tatnall's Napoleon Hernandez set a new Freshmen Class Record in the 400m - 51.45 - to place 6th.

Howard Boys Set New State Record in the 4 x 400 - 3:23.32!
The team of Brandon Justin (51.4), Ian Chege (50.8), Zaire Hermon (51.2) and Eddie Rosembert (49.8) erased the 1984 mark also held by the Wildcats.

Smyrna's Myrissa McFolling-Young Beats Her Own Record Set Earlier this Season in the Shot Put - 43' 10.75"!

VA Showcase, Liberty University/Lynchburg, VA (Middletown, Newark Girls)
Middletown's Daija Lampkin Posts Strong Performances in Virginia!
Lampkin was the winner in the 55m dash - 6.94 - and placed 4th in the Invitational 300m running 38.97.

N5CTA Winter Series Meet, Haverford, PA
Smyrna's Myrissa McFolling-Young Sets New State Record in the Shot Put - 43' 7"!
McFolling-Young eclipsed Brieanna Kennedy's (Caravel), 2008 mark of 42' 9.5". 
Other Highlights:
Tatnall girls swept all three relays!
Double winners include Najiya Cornish (Ursuline) taking the 55m/7.30 and 200m/26.66, Arianna Vass (Smyrna) won both horizontal jumps - LJ/15' 4.25", TJ/31' 9.75", and Edwin Rosembert took both the 200m/23.15 and the 400m/52.26!

Kevin Dare Invitational, State College, PA (Appo, Padua)
Padua's Taliah Cintron took 2nd in the 60mH in 9.24 - #10 All Time! Her teammate, Cameron Lucey was 4th in the same event (9.33).
Lydia Olivere (Padua) took 3rd in the 3000m running 10:10.72 - #6 All Time.
Appoquinimink's Maysha Foster took 4th in the 60m in 7.96.
In the field, Padua duo Darby Deutsch and Camryn Harris both cleared 11' in the Pole Vault giving them 5th and 6th place.
Marie Soja (Padua) placed 4th in the shot put - 35' 5".
In the Triple Jump, Padua's Arryana Daniels took 2nd place, 36' 1".

William Penn's Miles Duncan is a Double Winner in Staten Island!
Duncan's victories came in the Long Jump/22' 5.5" and the Triple Jump/45-11.5"!
Daija Lampkin (Middletown) won the 55m in 7.05!
Assana Shamlin (Delcastle) was the winner in the High Jump - 5' 2"!
The boys from Sallies placed 3rd in the Distance Medley Relay - 10:42.02 - #8 All Time!
Charter's Chris Avila placed 5th in the 2 mile - 9:5236.

Marine Corps Holiday Classic, Armory, NYC (Mt. Pleasant, Tatnall)
Mount's Malachi Davis Wins the Triple Jump/45' 7" and is Runner-Up in the Long/21'9"!
Other Highlights:
Tatnall Sophomores Brendan Balthis/4:25.78 and Keelin Hays/5:11.57 placed 4th in their Mile events.
Mount's Johnelle Joe placed 6th in the 800m, breaking the 2:00 barrier running 1:59.00, shortly after taking 11th place in the Mile in 4:30.68.

Middletown's Daija Lampkin Wins Two Events - Setting a State Record in the 55m, (6.89),  and Runs a #1 All Time in the 300m - 38.59, in the Prelims!

Padua's Lydia Olivere Wins the Mile in 5:04.17 - #5 All Time!

Salesianum senior, George Steinhoff, took 3rd in the mile in 4:27.88!

Brendan Balthis won the 2 mile in 9:36.30 - #11 All Time!
Kayla Woods was runner-up in two events - High Jump/5'4" and 500m/1:18.16! Her 500m time puts her on top of the All Time List in that event!
