Tatnall girls finish 6th at Nike XC Nationals in Portland, OR!!!
NIKE XC Southeast Regionals
Tatnall girls are heading back to Nike Nationals, after finishing 2nd at the Nike Southeast Region as WILMINGTON XC. The girls were led by Reagan Anderson's 12th place finish. Tatnall's Steven Garrett finished 10th overall in boys race, as they finished 7th overall. Padua, Charter, Salesianum, DMA, Ursuline, Archmere, and Caesar Rodney all competed under different names this year at the meet in North Carolina.

Delaware Open Cross Country Championship Scholarship
***Attention Coaches and athletes***- The deadline to apply for the 2013 Delaware Running Club Scholarship is 4:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 1, 2012.
Coaches are allowed to nominate seniors who are Delaware residents, attend an N5CTA member high school in DE, and have participated in cross country programs during their junior and seniors years. They must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 in core curriculum and plan to enroll in a full-time or two- or four-year academic program at a regionally accredited college. In the event of two equally qualified applicants, preference will be given to students who are All State selection, All County Selection, and/or All Catholic selection.
Each school is allowed to nominate one senior male and one senior female. Once they are chosen, athletes must go towww.doe.k12.de.us/dheo to apply.
The chosen candidates will receive a $2000 college scholarship for the 2013-14 academic year.
Tatnall sweeps varsity races at the 2012 Joe O'Neill Invitational. Tatnall Junior Jack Hagood ran 15:24, narrowly missing the state record on the course. Tatnall's Reagan Anderson takes 1st overall in the girls' race, running 17:49. Salesianum boys finished 2nd overall, and their Junior Varsity finished 1st overall with just 16 points. Padua girls finished 2nd overall, and their Junior Varsity also won the race with 33 points.

Delaware Sports Club is hosting the 2102 Fall Fling on Saturday, October 20th at 6 p.m. at the Figure 8 Barn at Bellevue State Park.

White Clay Creek Classic
Newark boys and Walt Whitman girls take the win at the White Clay Creek Classic. Rustin's Chris Coates posted the fastest time for boys, finishing the course in 17:03.69. Rustin's Amber Hontz took the top time of the day for girls, finishing in 20:00.39.
